The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is a law that gives the public the right to access information from the federal government. All presidential material at the Reagan Library became subject to FOIA in 1994.

Part of our FOIA responsibility is providing on-line lists of government material made available to the public in response to specific requests. The Library did not create digital copies of these lists on a consistent basis until around 2000. There are some for the earlier requests - please check the individual year lists to see which digital guides we have.

These lists do not include any corrections, edits or updates to the information after they were completed. For a fuller and up-to-date lists of material available to the public by topic please use the Reagan Library Topic Guides.  If you have any further questions regarding these lists, please contact our archival staff at 1-800-410-8354, outside the US at 1-805-577-4012, or email reagan.library@nara.gov.
