Parking at the Reagan Library:  Parking is Free, but on a first come first served basis.  Once the Visitor Lot is full, visitors will be required to park on Presidential Drive adjacent to the Library.  There is a complimentary shuttle running along Presidential Drive, bringing visitors to the Library entrance.  We also request that all motorhomes park on Presidential Drive.  If you have any questions, please call Visitor Services at 805.577.4066

General Information

The Museum is designed for self-guided activities.  Please allow 2 ½ to 3 hours to view all the galleries and exhibits.  

Accessibility

The Museum and grounds are wheelchair accessible except for the interior of Air Force One.  For those of our visitors who are unable to walk through the aircraft, a wheelchair lift is provided to access the entry of the plane to view the flight deck and communication center. Additionally, elevator access is available at the rear entrance and a special photo alum located next to the airplane is available for viewing. Special needs parking spaces are also available.  Complimentary wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Pets

Please note that no pets are allowed on the grounds or in the museum. However working or service animals (i.e. guide dog for the blind) that are identified as such are allowed.

Bags and Backpacks

Large Backpacks and large bags are not allowed inside the museum. Please return these items to your vehicle before entering.

Museum Hours: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

Christmas Eve Hours: 10 a.m - 3 p.m. 
CLOSED New Year´s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibit

Please allow ample time to see this exhibit. During busier times, holidays and weekends, lines can be long to see the scrolls. We must close this exhibit promptly at 5:00 pm for preservation reasons, so please plan your visit.

Research Room Hours

The Research Room is open Monday-Friday EXCEPT Federal Holidays. Appointments are required.

Parking Options

Parking is free and there are a limited number of bus stalls.

RV parking is available on Presidential Drive (Visitor Parking lot is too narrow for RVs).  RVs should proceed up the hill and go around the traffic circle so they are headed back down Presidential Drive and select the nearest on-street parking. Or you may park going uphill prior to entering the traffic circle.
