Biography

Mr. Ryan joined the White House staff in 1982, as Deputy Director of Appointments and Scheduling. He was promoted to Director of Appointments and Scheduling in February 1983. In February 1985, he was also given the leadership of the White House Office of Private Sector Initiatives, succeeding James Coyne. This collection pertains to his Private Sector Initiatives role.
