This collection consists primarily of newspaper clippings regarding the Republican primary campaign of John Anderson for the 1980 presidential election. Mr. Anderson did not receive the nomination and he chose to run as an Independent. He participated in a presidential debate with just Ronald Reagan, the Republican candidate on September 21, 1980.
