Ronald Reagan's Governor's Papers

Ronald Reagan served two terms as governor of California, 1967-1975. When Governor Reagan left office, the papers his office created were considered to be his personal property, and Reagan deposited the papers at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. For the benefit of researchers, the Hoover Institution graciously worked with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation to transfer large portions of these Gubernatorial Papers to the Library in the late 1990s. A limited number of speeches and announcements from Ronald Reagan's administration as governor of California are available online.

A list of the Gubernatorial papers series held at the Reagan Library is listed below and includes the status of availability of each series.
